Sibsy listed 1st! Because last name of "A" or she did 1st half. Yet she drew (cute) baby yak in 2nd half. Soooo confusing. Fun, but confusing to fig out. (Potluck on what to SB? Hmmmm.)

Sibsy and wagons. I see a pattern developing.

(Ya know...if Big Jim is gonna constantly reveal who SB'ed an ep on Twitter, that end-credit space could be used for individual...idk...'tweeners. Just a thought. They need love too.)

Oh yes. Happy [late] Canada Day. Hope it was a good one.

(Shoot off fireworks or go see? Doing both is great.)

I boarded the first half, that's why my name came first this time.

Tweeners?

'tweeners = (lazy) animators shorthand/slang for inbetweeners. Typing, (or saying), "inbetweeners" is too time consuming, so it's shorten up to 'tweeners.  (SB'ers can have a pretty good career in it. hint hint)

If ya did the 1st half how did your cute baby yak get in the 2nd half?

I know what the term is, I just didn't get how it related to storyboard artists.

And we have thumbnail meetings where we go thru the whole episode and throw around ideas to punch things up!

Hello Sibsy! I was just wondering how you started on a big company such as Cartoon Network. I am pursuing a career in animation and I'm just wondering how to put yourself out there and get recognized. Love your work! Keep it up! :)

Well I never worked FOR Cartoon Network, the Eds was produced in Canada at a studio called aka cartoon. Either way, I just applied to the studio and did a storyboard test and was accepted. That's kinda pretty much it!

Hiya Sibsy! Just curious, did you have a hand in the facial expressions for the latest MLP episode aired "Party Pooped"? Because whoever did work on the many golden facial expressions in this episode deserves both a promotion and a raise! :P They're so well done and so much fun to watch! i3.kym-cdn.com/photos/images/o…

It's just too bad we'll never find out what kind of mythological creature severed part of Pinkie's mane in one swipe. Just goes to show that it's hard to see her as a 'guardian of harmony' if she can't instinctively trigger the rainbow power transformation by herself...now that I think of it, if she did have such a power, she could have just flown to the land of Yaks (though I'm not sure if they'd accept her since she's a pony and they haven't heard word from the prince if they could be trusted). Eh, whatever, it was a awesome storyboard nonetheless, and you even shown Pinkie's acute need to observe everypony and know everything about them (as she does in the fallout fics). Either way, good world building, and maybe you'll discuss how ponies are able to create cheesy Mexican-style food (burros?).

I saw your tweet about Zootopia; I agree. It really isn't a "furry" movie. The characters are more feral than human. If anything, the movie's world is on par with Animal Crossing, and Kung Fu Panda. But what broke the camel's back was the use of the word "anthropomorphic." Even though the word means "described or thought of as being like human beings in appearance, behavior, etc. ;considering animals, objects, etc., as having human qualities," when was the last time anyone heard the word "anthro" and didn't think of furries? The movie sealed it's own fate/ dug it's own grave with that word, rather than just saying "they're animals, shut up," like how they did with Robin Hood. It's amazing how one word can create a big deal.

Yeah, I'm not really sure why Disney, basically the creators of talking animals, felt the need to have to explain it. It's almost like they didn't know what else to do for the trailer without giving away plot-points, and used a lame filler, with even lamer puns. I'm still super stoked to see it. One of my best friends has been working on it, so I'll support it no matter what. Besides, it's got cute Disney-styled critters in it, it's not a hard sell for me!

You hit the nail on the head. Trailer pun, (ie, joke), was a PR marketing ploy which backfired a wee bit. However, as a market ploy it worked as folks are talking about the movie - a lot.

You are hereby, (gently), instructed:

1) To see the theatrical release;
2) Buy the DvD and/or Blu-ray, your choice;
3) Buy future comics of said movie;
4) Buy as much character figurines/toys/clothing as possible.

The Mouse will thank you.

And now, back to our regularly scheduled program.

Me, I was sold when I realized a fox was the main character. Not a wolf, not a dog, a cat, a fish, a panda (wait...), or a dragon; A fox. My initial reaction; www.youtube.com/watch?v=y7Ymw5…
But that....pun just hurt me. I really had to contemplate if I could still be hyped for this movie after that. Eventually, I said www.youtube.com/watch?v=YqIAVo…
