Description

So I've hopped aboard my first DA meme. I'm not going to go into much detail with who's who and why they are my influences....so here we go..

1. The Disney Afternoon (back when american kid's shows were fairly well written and well animated)

2. Giorgio Cavazzano (my biggest influence of all time...honestly, it should probably just be him on this page and nothing else)

3. Robert Kirkman (author of some my fave comic series, Invincible and The Walking Dead)

4. Walt Kelly (I don't think you can find cuter comics anywhere)

5. Donald Duck (temper temper...I can relate)

6. Chuck Jones (no explanation needed, I don't think)

7. Peyo (beautiful line work and characterizations, I've loved his art since I was a teeny kid)

8. David Sedaris (author; hilarious and sarcastic)

9. My family (kinda goes without saying...they really mold who you become)

10. Jeff Smith (master of the black and white, as well as wondeful simple poses and expressions)

11. Mike Kunkel (glad to see someone almost animate kids' comics...nice raw pencil drawings)

12. Slappy Squirrel (queen of cartoon sarcasm)

13. Ed, Edd n' Eddy (working on this show really helped hone my cartooning skills)

14. Jeffrey Brown (autobiographical comics...life, love, sex...I love the honesty in his work)

15. Who Framed Roger Rabbit (probably the only animated film in the past 20 years that still makes my jaw drop when I watch it)

16. Cars - my second love in life.

17. Kurt Vonnegut (author; brilliant)
