Okay, Sabrina, stop "goofing" around with these puns...
Wow, you really nail all these styles, don't you? He looks a little younger than A Goofy Movie as you've drawn him, which is awesome, cuz we rarely see Max in between the ages he's portrayed as. I'm not sure if anyone else noticed this, but Max's hair becomes more detailed and pointed (cuz a lot of the time the ends of his hair are rounded ) as he gets older, by the time AEGM rolled around Max's hair looked like actual spines
Okay, I think I know which movies I'm watching while I work on my painting tonight.
I do like your take on him here. It's like his age between the first movie, and the tv series. I remember he was still a grade schooler / middle schooler in the tv series, then maybe sophmore or junior year in the first movie. So maybe he's an eighth grader or freshman here?
Goofy is such a pure and innocent character, and in every incarnation, he always means to do right. Easily one of my favourites. Max and Goofy play very well off each other, and A Goofy Movie needs to be recognized more. Goofy never asks anything of Max except to be honest and simply wants to support him.
The Goofy movie, heh. I remember reading a USAToday "interview" with The Goof in regards to that movie, in which he was asked about the fact that there's him, and then there's Pluto, and um...anyway, Goofy's answer, as I remember was "I guess I'm the missing link between dog and man". Also he was asked about Max's mother. He said something about last seeing her heading to the shopping mall, and that he still has to pay her credit card bills. Basically, they're divorced, I guess. *shrug*
Cool, expressive drawings as usual. Very on-model. You must have a great visual memory.
